At EyeConnectAI, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data from our systems. This policy is part of our commitment to compliance with data protection regulations and platform requirements, such as those from Facebook.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request the deletion of your account and all associated data, please send an email to our support team with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
In your email, please include the following information to help us verify your identity and locate your data:
- Your full name.
- The email address associated with your EyeConnectAI account.
- The name of the hospital associated with your account.
Alternatively, if you are logged into your account, you can navigate to your Profile settings and find the option to initiate an account deletion request directly from the user interface.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
Upon receiving and verifying your deletion request, we will permanently and irrevocably delete the following data:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, password hash, and profile settings.
- Hospital Data: All information related to your hospital profile, including name, address, and social media handles.
- User Content: All campaigns, scheduled posts, media files, and AI-generated content associated with your account.
- Social Connection Tokens: All access tokens and permissions for connected social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) will be deleted.
- Analytics Data: Any performance data we have collected from your connected social media accounts.
What Data May Be Retained?
For legal and accounting purposes, we may need to retain certain information for a limited period, such as billing records and invoices. We may also retain anonymized or aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you for statistical and service improvement purposes.
Deletion Timeline
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days. The complete deletion process will be finalized within 30 calendar days of your initial request. We will send you a final confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
